WEDDING NIGHT

He calls her his Empress, and he means it in every sense of the word. He trusts in her, believes in her, vows to follow wherever she goes.

She calls him her Consort, but that word cannot truly elucidate exactly what he means to her. He is her constant, her guiding force, never far from her side, always there to lean on.

Neither of them can remember the moment they fell in love. They do their bests to forget all the events in between then and now. Those things do not matter, and almost exist in another lifetime entirely. For now they both belong each other. Now she is truly his, and he is truly hers, bound together in the Force and eternity after vowing in front of a galaxy to always stand by the other’s side.

Now they are alone, secure behind the doors that lead to their private suite of rooms in the Palace. He leads her to the bath, drawing the warm water and peeling off her gown and headdress. She gives him the same treatment, slowly unbuttoning his dress jacket and pushing it off his shoulders. After a few moments they stand bare before one another, free of the costumes required by public life. No longer Empress and Consort, but still belonging to each other. Just Mara and Luke.

He kisses her then, taking her into his arms and entering the tub. The water is almost overflowing and he shuts off the tap, pulling Mara on top of him. No words are spoken as hands caress flesh, lips kiss skin, bodies are joined. The only noises in the room are moans of pleasure. Through their bond in the Force they proclaim their love, an explosion of ecstasy settling over them.

Later they retire to the bedroom. He lays her down on satin sheets and declares his love all over again, treading a path of pleasure all throughout the night.

And, for once in her life, the Empress follows him.

I love that last line because even though it should seem that Mara has more power in the relationship, it is still a relationship of equals. And I love how romantic this is and the description of their names and the meanings... oh my ginchy heart is goo. <3 <3

You write their love very well. I am sure if their bed was huge their bathtub must be enormous...because doing those activities in a normal bathtub is not easy. LOL! Very nice! Love it!
