Title: How To Stay Warm

Notes: Basically, in this AU, Luke and Mara started going out after the end of the Thrawn crisis. Mucho thanks to Donna for the ideas. And I have no idea how spacing bloody works on this website.

“This is all your fault,” Mara Jade muttered, shivering under a blanket, as she sat in the co-pilot’s chair of the Silver Stars.

“How is this my fault?” her boyfriend squawked back. Luke Skywalker was in the pilot’s chair shivering as well. He had asked Mara to come with him to check out prospective planets for his Jedi Academy, hoping if she had some input on the location, she might train with him. They had gone to Ossus and Yavin IV. While on Yavin IV, Mara had been bitten by a Keriaci tree serpent. Its venom was not deadly, but it was giving Mara a nasty head cold. To make matters worse, their hyperdrive had given out on their way back to Coruscant. They had enough air to last them until their rescue party came, but they had no heat or lights.

“I liked Ossus. If you had just listened to me, we never would have gone to Yavin, we wouldn’t have gotten attacked by that damn Sith spirit and I wouldn’t have gotten bitten by that kriffing serpent,” she railed at him, her eyes were hard. She was angry.  

He risked life and limb and reached over to take her hand. She let him. “I know and I’m sorry. But you can’t deny, if we hadn’t have gone, we wouldn’t have discovered our bond.”

She allowed him the delight of a small smile. “That was awesome.” She leaned over and went to kiss him on the cheek, not wanting to make him sick as well. He moved his head at the last second and she ended up kissing him on the lips.

“I don’t care about getting sick,” he told her earnestly, reading her mind.

She snorted. “You might when I remind you that we still have another 20 hours before the rescue party shows up.” Another shiver ran though her body and a coughing fit racked her frame. “I don’t think I am going to make it.”

“You are,” he assured her. “I wish I had a taun-taun. I’d cut it open and stuff you inside.”

Mara rolled her eyes. When forming their bond, all of his memories transferred to her and vice versa. She knew exactly what he was talking about. “Well, since we don’t have a large furry beast to kill, I guess we’re going to have to use my survival technique,” she said, getting up shakily.

Luke stood up instantly and put his arm around her. He helped her back to the cabin where there were two bunks with two sleeping bags and other blankets. “Okay, what do we have to do?” he asked as she sat on one of the bunks. The stars shining in through the view port gave them just enough light to see by.

“We have to share body heat. I’ve never actually done this, but according to Winter, it works. Can you get the sleeping bag off the other bunk and put it inside the one on this bunk. We need all the blankets.”

He nodded and did as she asked, then paused and gawked as he realized that she was unzipping her olive flight suit, revealing her undershirt.  His mouth went dry as she took off her undershirt. He desperately wanted his hands on her lacy dark blue bra. His body started to betray him. He felt the blood rushing to his cock. Even though she was sick, she was still the image of beauty. 

“Uh, uh… Mar… Mar… Mara?” he stuttered, not able to form a coherent sentence.

“What?” she asked before sneezing. Another shiver ran through her body. “This won’t work unless we are both completely naked and wrapped in our clothes,” she said as she bent down to take off her boots. Her teeth were now chattering uncontrollably.   

Luke blushed furiously. He loved Mara and would do anything for her. But they had only been dating for three months and he wasn’t sure if she was ready for the next step, though, nothing physical could be more intimate than what they had experience when they had formed their bond. He KNEW he couldn’t cuddle with her naked in a sleeping bag without his body doing ungentlemanly things. He was only male, and a human one at that.          

“Ma… Mar… Mara… I can’t do this.”

“Luke….” She then felt suddenly weak. All her strength suddenly gave out and she collapsed on the bunk.

 “Mara!” Luke shouted. He checked her pulse – it was weak. She had been sicker than she had let him believe. He had to get her warm. Now.

He quickly stripped off his robes, boots and even his underpants, for his swelling dick was a throbbing source of heat. He stuffed all his garments inside the sleeping bag, then went to work, stripping Mara.

Luke cautiously took off her boots, leaving her socks on. He pulled her flight suit off her legs. He gulped as he peeled off her shorts and panties. She was so beautiful, it made him hurt. He wanted the first time he was with her to be romantic, but right now, he needed to focus on saving her life. He undid the clasp of her bra and let it fall. He stared at her ample breasts.

He slid her into the cocoon of blankets. After attempting a hasty calming technique that did little to help his hard situation, he slipped in beside her. He tucked them both under the lip of the bag and wrapped his arms around Mara’s shaking body.

In the dark, Luke did his best to heat his beloved up while ignoring his raging erection.

A few hours later, Luke was sound asleep. Mara woke slowly, still feeling sick, but much better. She suddenly realized she was in a sleeping bag, with Luke, naked. She grinned. He might not be ready for the next step because he was afraid that if he did, he would lose her. But she was ready.

She reached down and started stroking his semi-erect cock.          

Luke did not wake, but he started to moan and groan. “Yes. Oh… oh… OH! YES!”

His own shouts woke him. “Mara?”

She looked up at him with innocent eyes. “Hey, Luke,” she purred. “I’m feeling much better.”

His lips worked their way from her lips, across her jaw to her ear and down her neck and chest to her breasts. As he made his trail he said. “I love you too. You warm my heart up more than you could ever know.”

“You are such a sap,” she said as she ran her hands from his hair, down is hard back and to his ass. “But I love you for it.”

He looked down at her, rolled his eyes, but continued grinning. Before she knew what was happening, he slipped his hardness into her womanly folds. She gasped, but her body soon adjusted to him. Luke glided in and out of her until she needed more. She wrapped her legs around his upper legs and urged him on.

Both tried to make it last as long as they could, but between the bonding and the fact that they had wanted and needed to kriff each-other senseless for a few weeks now, neither lasted as long as they normally could have.

Luke settled down under Mara to recover. Both were covered in sweat and breathing heavily.

“That. Was. Amazing,” he said as he nuzzled her ear.

“Yeah,” was all that she could reply. “How much longer do you think it will take the rescue party to get here?”

“Hopefully hours and hours.”

“We might have to have sex several more time to stay alive.”

“I think so to,” he said holding her close. “Actually, I think I am already feeling a bit nippy.”

She laughed as she reached down to fondle his cock and balls. “I think you might be frozen down here, you are so hard. Let me warm you up again.”

Over the next several hours Luke and Mara stayed warm and entertained. When their rescue party came, consisting of Han and Leia, Luke, in his boxers and robe, happily announced his five hour old engagement to Mara as she stood there in his tunic, blankets wrapped around her waist.
